A detail set, not an aircraft model. It is a resin cockpit set for a model of the Soviet frontline fighter Mikoyan MiG-29A (NATO code Fulcrum) in 1:48 scale. The set replaces the cockpit from the box with a faithfully cast tub, instrument panel, side consoles and ejection seat. Intended for experienced modelers.
Even in 1:48 scale the cockpit under an open canopy is a prominent detail. The resin castings carry the crisp relief of instruments, levers and switches that injection-molded plastic cannot manage. Photo-etched parts and a film with dial faces for building a realistic instrument panel are usually included. The result is a faithful cockpit of one of the best-known Soviet fighters.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
