This resin detail set from the Brassin range by the manufacturer Eduard brings precisely made barrels for the onboard cannons of the MiG-15bis fighter model in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but a small accessory that replaces the plastic parts and gives the model finer and sharper detail in the area of the cannon armament.
The MiG-15bis was a Soviet jet fighter of the early 1950s, one of the most widespread fighters of its era. Its armament consisted of cannons of 23 and 37 mm caliber placed under the nose. Finely made barrels markedly improve the look of a model in exactly this prominently visible area.
Separate the parts carefully from the casting blocks and wash the mold release residue off them before gluing. Join them with cyanoacrylate glue and sand with your airways protected. Spray the barrels with a primer before fitting and then shade them in a metallic tone.
This is an accessory set, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
