A color photo-etched set of seat belts by the Czech manufacturer Eduard for a model of the MiG-21R in 1:48 scale. The newer STEEL version is made of springy steel, so the belts hold their shape and realistic sags and bends are easier to form. It is not a kit but a standalone detail accessory.
The MiG-21R was the reconnaissance version of the well-known Soviet supersonic MiG-21 fighter. In the narrow cockpit the seat belts are one of the most visible parts of the interior, which makes it worth working on their detail.
The color steel belts are self-adhesive. Thanks to the springiness of the steel you can easily bend them into the natural shape of belts draped over the seat. A drop of super glue can be added for a firm hold.
The set contains photo-etched seat belts only. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
