This is a set of pre-printed color 3D decals for detailing the two-seat cockpit of the French Dassault Mirage 2000D strike aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is neither a model nor a kit: it is a raised cockpit decal with three-dimensional structure and faithful colors that replaces the flat parts of the base kit with no need to paint the dials by hand or to work with photo-etched parts. The set is designed for a particular plastic kit from Kinetic. It contains raised instrument and side panels for both the front and the rear cockpit and the seat belts.
The Mirage 2000D is the two-seat strike version of the French delta-wing fighter, adapted for precise ground attacks in any weather. It is derived from the Mirage 2000 family.
After a brief dip in lukewarm water, separate the part from the backing film with tweezers and lay it in place in the cockpit. Raised decals are thicker than ordinary decals, so settle them with a water-thinnable glue or an acrylic clear coat. The set suits more advanced modelers.
