Pitot tube for the Mirage III 1:48 (Quickboost) is a resin aircraft accessory in 1:48 scale from Quickboost. It is not an airplane model but a detail part. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
An exactly cast resin pitot tube (airspeed probe) for the French Dassault Mirage III fighter in 1:48 scale. It is an aftermarket detail part that will replace the coarser or easily damaged plastic tube from the base kit, not a standalone airplane model.
The Dassault Mirage III is a French single-engine supersonic fighter with a characteristic delta wing. It was among the most successful jet fighters of the Cold War and stood out for its slender forward fuselage, at the tip of which a long pitot tube for measuring speed was mounted.
Resin parts call for more careful work than plastic: first wash them to remove mold release residue, separate them carefully from the casting block (the gate) and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding and cutting small parts. Apply a primer before painting. The thin tube is fragile, so glue it on at the very end of the build, when handling can no longer break it off.
The part is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
