1:48 Mitsubishi A6M2b/3/5 Reisen, a closed cockpit with masking stencils refines the glazing of a model of the Japanese Zero naval fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a complete model but a separate clear part with an aid for painting. The cover is formed in the closed state and the set relates to three production forms of the naval fighter at once.
The Mitsubishi A6M got its Japanese name from the year it entered service, and among the Allies the plain Zero took hold. In the first year of the war it was a combination nobody had counted on: a range far beyond the ideas of the day, an agility that could not be matched in a turn, and cannon in the wing with it. The price was a very light structure with no armor. The A6M2b, A6M3 and A6M5 forms represent successive steps of development, in which the wing, the powerplant and the exhausts changed, while the basic shape of the pilot's compartment stayed close.
For collectors of Japanese naval fighters and for modelers who build the Zero with the pilot's compartment closed. It will serve in repairing a model with a scuffed original part as well. An accurately formed cover moreover follows the spine fairing behind the pilot's head better.
