An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese fighter Nakajima Ki-43-II Hayabusa in 1:48 scale from the Japanese brand Hasegawa. The Allies gave this type the code name Oscar. The model captures the Ki-43-II version and suits more advanced as well as experienced builders of aircraft models.
The Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa (peregrine falcon) was the main fighter of the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force during the Second World War. The Ki-43-II version received a more powerful engine, a shorter wing, better armor for the pilot and self-sealing tanks. The aircraft stood out for its excellent agility and was fielded on most fronts of the Pacific and Asian theaters.
Glue the parts with liquid modeling cement for plastic, fill the seams and sand them down. Apply a primer before painting, lay the paints down with an airbrush in thin coats and mask the camouflage transitions. We recommend a gloss clear coat under the decals and settling them with a decal softener.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
