An add-on photo-etched set for a model of the American North American B-25D Mitchell medium bomber in 1:48 scale. It holds fine metal parts for the interior and the exterior, which replace or complement the less detailed sections of the plastic kit, for example cockpit elements, panels, covers and small airframe fittings.
The North American B-25 Mitchell was one of the most successful American medium bombers of the Second World War. The B-25D version was among the early production forms. The type became famous among other things for the raid on Tokyo and for its versatile use in every theater.
The parts are cut from the fret, the thin elements are shaped in an etch bender and they are glued with super glue. Bare metal is best degreased and given a primer coat before painting. The pre-colored elements can be fitted straight away. Tweezers and fine tools are worth having.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
