Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American twin-engine bomber in the PBJ-1D configuration, which was the designation of the B-25 Mitchell in the colors of the US Navy and the Marine Corps. The model in 1:48 scale from Academy offers a richly detailed cockpit interior, a bomb bay and landing gear, finely engraved panel lines with riveting, and in the box you will also find masking film for the glazing and several marking options for machines from 1944.
The North American B-25 Mitchell was among the most successful medium bombers of the Second World War. Under the PBJ designation it was flown by US Marine Corps squadrons, which used the aircraft above all in the Pacific for patrol and anti-shipping work, for bombing ground targets and for suppressing Japanese shipping. The versions with heavy nose armament became famous as feared attack machines for low-level strikes.
Use thin cement for plastic and work in sub-assemblies. Finish and paint the cockpit interior and the bomb bay before you close the fuselage. Apply a primer before painting and lay the colors down with an airbrush; the masks supplied make clean glazing and crisp camouflage edges easier. Glue the stores and armament only after the base coat and suggest wear on the leading edges and exhaust staining discreetly.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
