The Northrop F-5 Tiger II is a twin-engine light supersonic fighter developed from the earlier Freedom Fighter line. It was powered by a pair of General Electric J85 turbojet engines, and its armament consisted of cannon plus missiles and bombs on underwing and fuselage pylons. Thanks to its low operating costs and easy maintenance the F-5 spread to a number of countries and serves to this day; it is often used as an aggressor aircraft for air combat training. The Republic of China Air Force was one of its major operators.
Cut the parts from the sprues and glue the joints with liquid modeling cement for plastic. Glue the canopy glazing carefully with canopy cement so that the plastic does not fog, and use masks for clean spraying of the frames. Paint and emphasize the cockpit interior before you close the fuselage. Build the external stores according to the scheme you choose; after applying a gloss coat and the decals, emphasize the panel lines with a wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
