The Opel Blitz was the most widespread three-ton truck of the Wehrmacht, used on every front. The Kfz.385 Tankwagen version carried a tank and was among the most common refueling vehicles of the Luftwaffe. A reliable inline engine and a rugged chassis made it the workhorse of supply.
First assemble and paint the chassis and the cab, and only then close the body up. Glue with liquid cement for plastic and sand the joints down. After spraying the base color (gray, dark yellow), bring the surface to life with washes and pigments for mud and dust effects.
