This add-on set from the manufacturer Quickboost (the resin division of the Czech company Aires) is not a model but replacement resin barrels for models of the Rockwell OV-10 Bronco observation and attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. The castings replace the plastic barrels of the machine guns housed in the side sponsons.
The Rockwell OV-10 Bronco was a light observation and counter-insurgency aircraft with distinctive sponsons carrying machine guns. Plastic barrels are often too thick and have no muzzle opening. The resin parts, cast accurately even where the barrels are thin, offer a more correct profile and fine detail that comes out on a close look.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and cut the casting blocks off carefully. Handle the thin barrels gently and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Do the sanding with respiratory protection. Bring out the metal of the barrels with a dark metallic shade.
An add-on set in resin, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
