P-38G Big Ed 1:48 is a combined Eduard photo-etch collection for raising the detail of Lockheed P-38G Lightning models in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an aircraft model but a set of accessories. Big Ed is a collection that brings several separately sold photo-etched sets and an Eduard mask set together in a single package. The set is meant for detailing plastic models of the twin-boom P-38G Lightning fighter in 1:48 scale.
The Lockheed P-38 Lightning was an American twin-engine fighter and multi-role aircraft of the Second World War with its characteristic twin-boom layout. The P-38G version was among the early production variants and served in the Pacific as well as the European theater.
The aircraft model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package. The set serves only for detailing a kit.
