A resin detail part, not an airplane kit. This finely cast resin set replaces the pilot seat of the American Bell P-39 Airacobra fighter in 1:48 scale. The seat has the seat belts cast straight into it, with accurate sag and buckles, so the laborious addition of photo-etched parts falls away. The part is meant for modelers who want to fit out a cockpit quickly and accurately.
The seat dominates an open cockpit and cast belts with a realistic sag bring it to life. On the Airacobra, which had an unusual layout with the engine behind the pilot and car-style doors, the view into the cockpit is especially attractive. A single part therefore does a great deal for the overall impression of the interior.
