This is a resin detail set, not an airplane model. The set replaces the final exhaust nozzle of a plastic kit of the single-engine F-16C fighter in the Block 25/32 version with a faithfully cast part with the correct inner geometry, nozzle petals and structure of the exhaust duct. The shape of the nozzle matches exactly the engine version of the early Block 25/32 series and differs from the nozzles of the later blocks.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is an American single-engine multirole fighter. The form of the exhaust nozzle differs according to the engine used; the Block 25/32 version differs in this respect from the later production blocks. The nozzle at the rear of the fuselage is a striking element on which the depth and the structure of the interior stand out when the aircraft is seen from behind.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and cut off the casting blocks. Bond resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and sand with respiratory protection. Paint and weather the inside of the nozzle (metal shades, heat discoloration) before the final assembly. Adapt the transition of the nozzle into the fuselage by sanding if necessary.
