Omask 1:48 painting masks for the P-47D-25RE Thunderbolt

A set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks from the Czech manufacturer Omask in 1:48 scale, intended for P-47D-25RE Thunderbolt models. It is not a model, but an accessory that makes masking the glazing and the wheels more precise and quicker. The masks follow the shape of the frames exactly, so there is no cutting of tape. The masks are based on the shapes of the MiniArt 48009 kit.

Use

  • Transfer the masks onto a clean canopy and press them down onto the frames.
  • Spray the exposed areas in the interior color and then in the exterior one.
  • Masks for the wheels, for a clean separation of the tire from the hub, are usually included.
  • Once the paint has dried, lift the masks off carefully.

Who it is for

  • Builders of the Thunderbolt in 1:48 scale who want crisp cockpit frames.
  • Modelers who do not get on with slow masking by tape.

This is a separate accessory. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
