1:48 P-47D-30 Thunderbolt TFace

Eduard 1:48 P-47D-30 Thunderbolt TFace

A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive masks for a model of the fighter P-47D-30 Thunderbolt in 1:48 scale. The designation TFace means that the templates cover the cabin glazing from the outer as well as the inner side. The frames of the canopy can thus be painted from both sides and the interior and exterior given the right shades apart from one another, which lends the cockpit a realistic look. The masks are cut from flexible kabuki tape, which follows curved shapes well and leaves no remains of adhesive behind once lifted off.

Use

• masking the frames and glazing of the cabin before spraying
• separating the color of the interior and the exterior thanks to the inner as well as outer masks
• sticking them onto degreased and dry glazing, going around the edges and spraying over them with an airbrush
• careful removal once the paint has dried

Who it is for

For modelers who want sharp transitions of color on a cabin without lengthy masking with tape by hand. The set is an aftermarket accessory for the plastic model of the P-47D-30 in 1:48 scale and assumes that it is obtained separately.

The model, paints and glue are not included in the package. The masks serve only to mask during painting.
