P-47D Razorback in the Pacific area 1:48 is a set of wet transfers from HGW for models of the P-47D Thunderbolt fighter with the razorback spine.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a set of so-called wet transfers from HGW in 1:48 scale. Unlike a classic decal, once it has been applied and the film peeled away, only the motif itself stays on the model without a carrier membrane, so the glossy edge and the risk of so-called silvering fall away. The set brings color markings for several P-47D Thunderbolt machines with the razorback spine committed in the Pacific area.
The Republic P-47D Thunderbolt was an American fighter and fighter-bomber of the Second World War period. The version with the so-called razorback spine came before the later machines with a teardrop canopy. In the Pacific, Thunderbolts served both to escort bombers and to attack ground targets and ships.
Cut out the motif you need with a sharp scalpel and dip the backing paper in lukewarm water for twenty seconds. For a perfect result it is advisable to coat the base with gloss varnish. Apply the motif onto a smooth, gloss surface, so that the detail comes out and no silvering occurs.
This is an accessory with markings, not a kit. The model, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
