Responsibility details are not available.
This Quinta Studio accessory covers the cockpit interior of the P-47N fighter and is not a kit of the aircraft. According to the name the elements are worked three-dimensionally and come already in color, so the modeler does not have to paint the instruments or the control panels by hand. On the Thunderbolt, with its wide cockpit, the result can be seen at first glance. It is based on the dimensions of the Academy kit.
The Republic P-47N was the last production form of the Thunderbolt and came about because of the enormous distances of the Pacific theater. It received a new wing of greater span with internal tanks, strengthened landing gear and a turbocharged radial engine. The range grew so much that the aircraft could escort bombers on flights lasting more than seven hours. There was relief for the pilots on the ergonomic side as well: the cockpit received armrests and a revised layout, because they spent all day in it.
Assemble the interior dry and check how far you will be able to see once the fuselage is glued. Sand and degrease the surfaces so that the elements hold over their whole area. Once it is finished it is worth darkening the depths slightly and lightening the edges instead, so that the interior gains space. Glue the clear canopy last and mask the frame separately, because it is the frame that separates the glass from the rest of the fuselage.
