A detail set from the Brassin range produced by direct 3D printing in 1:48 scale. It holds a complete, finely detailed cockpit for a model of the P-51B Mustang fighter with the bulged Malcolm Hood canopy. Decals and color-printed photo-etched parts (the instrument panel and the belts, for example) are part of it as well. It is not a model of an aircraft but a replacement for the cabin interior.
Wash any uncured print resin off the resin parts, cut the supports away carefully and sand the surfaces gently with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate. The set is designed for the matching plastic models of the P-51B; the color photo-etched elements will speed the finishing of the interior up. Before closing the fuselage, try the seating of the cockpit.
This is an add-on set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
