The Quinta Studio set brings a colored cockpit interior for the P-51B/C Mustang fighter in its early form, in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but an interior accessory. The instrument panel, the side consoles, the belts and other elements are 3D printed and printed in full color with a relief on backing decal paper. The decals are shaped for the parts of the Eduard kit.
The North American P-51 Mustang was among the best fighters of the Second World War, famous above all as a long-range escort for bombers over Europe. The early B and C versions are recognized by the framed cockpit canopy, unlike the later bubble canopy of the D version. Their interior is a popular subject for modelers.
Cut the part out carefully, soak it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the backing paper into place. The elements have no adhesive layer of their own and hold on a gloss varnish (Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22); on broken-up surfaces a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal setter, as their chemistry attacks the printed resin. Finish the interior before the fuselage is closed up.
This is a cockpit accessory, not an aircraft model. The package holds no kit, glue or paints.
