Photo-etched parts in 1:48 scale for the Tamiya kit of the Panther Ausf.G tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Panther was a German medium tank of the Second World War, valued for its long gun and its heavily sloped frontal armor. The Ausf.G version was its last production revision; you can tell it by the one-piece hull side, which no longer has the cut-out for the driver's vision visor.
The set brings photo-etched parts for the kit in 1:48 scale. The name ties it directly to the Tamiya kit, so the shapes fit without further adjustment. Thin sheet solves the places where a plastic part looks clumsy because it cannot be made thin enough. Which parts are in the set and where they belong is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Separate the individual parts from the fret with a cut of a sharp knife against a hard surface and dress the remaining tab with a fine-toothed file. Make the bends in a bender or on the edge of a steel ruler, bending the metal in one movement rather than breaking it over step by step. You bond them with super glue applied in drops on the tip of a wire. Degrease the sheet before painting and start with a primer for metal, or the layer will rub off during further work.
It suits modelers of German vehicles who are bothered by the thickness of plastic parts in a small scale and do not mind working with tweezers and a magnifier. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
