Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet twin-engine frontline bomber Petlyakov Pe-2, nicknamed the Peshka, in 1:48 scale from Zvezda. It is a very detailed model with a high number of parts, fine surface engraving, movable control surfaces and the option of open panels including the engine bay. The package offers marking options for several machines.
The Petlyakov Pe-2 was a Soviet twin-engine bomber of the Second World War, used as a frontline and dive bomber. It also proved itself in the roles of heavy fighter, reconnaissance aircraft and night fighter. It was among the most widespread twin-engine combat aircraft of the war - over 11000 were built. It was valued for its speed and versatility.
The model is fairly demanding and a more advanced modeler will appreciate it. Paint the interior and the engine bays before closing them if you want to use the open panels. Use a thin cement on the plastic, a primer and an airbrush. Mask the extensive glazing of the cockpit, and on a twin-engine machine fine-tune the engines and the propellers. Add the external and defensive armament at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
