According to the name it is the early configuration of the nozzles, that is the variant the manufacturer tells apart from the late type kept under a separate name. The item is a detail part, not a kit of an aircraft.
The Vigilante was altered over its service career and the exhaust section was among the places where the changes showed. That is exactly why Reskit keeps both configurations separately and the designation in the name is a crucial distinguishing detail, not just supplementary information. So it pays to compare your own references, or a photograph of the particular machine you want to build, because mixing up the early and the late type is irreversible on a finished model.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent and let them dry. Cut the casting block off with a fine-bladed saw, true the surface by sanding and keep checking that the nozzle seats square to the axis of the nacelle. In 1:48 the Vigilante is a large model and its tail is easily spoiled by nozzles seated asymmetrically, so take your time over dry fitting. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the internal surfaces separately, ideally in a dark metallic shade with the edges brought up afterward with a dry brush. The outer part of the nozzle takes warmer tones and heat tinting, but apply them in thin steps, so that the surface keeps its metallic sheen.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Please check that it matches the model you are building.
