An injection-molded plastic kit of the British single-engine jet fighter and ground attack aircraft Hawker Hunter in 1:48 scale from Academy. The set makes it possible to build the fighter F.6 version or the ground attack FGA.9 version and offers schemes for the RAF as well as for export users. The kit is supplied as a set of plastic parts intended to be glued and painted.
The Hawker Hunter was a British single-engine subsonic jet aircraft of the 1950s with elegant swept wings. The F.6 version served as a day fighter, while the FGA.9 version served as a ground attack machine supporting land forces. The Hunter became one of the most successful British postwar aircraft and flew in export colors with a number of foreign air forces.
Mask the cockpit and the clear canopy and spray them separately. Glue with liquid cement for plastic and sand the fuselage joints carefully. Glossy natural metal surfaces as well as colorful export schemes come out well with an airbrush; apply a gloss coat compatible with the paint you use under the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
