1:48 Reggiane Re.2005

Painting masks for the Reggiane Re.2005, 1:48

A set of self-adhesive masks from the Special Mask brand intended for models of the Italian Reggiane Re.2005 Sagittario fighter in 1:48 scale. The masks are cut precisely to the shape of the canopy framing, so that when painting you cover only the glazing and spray the frames themselves. That saves the laborious cutting of adhesive tape and gives straight, sharp transitions.

The real subject

The Reggiane Re.2005 Sagittario was an Italian single-seat fighter of the Second World War, powered by a liquid-cooled V12 engine. It was among the elegant and aerodynamically advanced Italian fighters of the so-called Series 5.

Use

• Lift the mask off, seat it precisely on the frame and press the edges down carefully.
• First spray the interior shade of the frames, then the external color.
• Cover any open areas of glazing with liquid mask or tape if needed.
• Remove the masks gently once the paint is dry.

This is an accessory to a plastic model, not the kit itself. The paints and the model are not included in the package.
