Rocket launcher B-8M1 and loading cart 1:48 is a resin detail set from Eduard. It brings the Soviet B-8M1 external rocket pod with a servicing cart; it is not an aircraft model but an accessory to models of combat aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains the Soviet B-8M1 external rocket pod and a detailed loading cart. It is an aftermarket accessory in resin completed with photo-etched parts, masks for the wheels and a transport box for spare rockets. It does not contain an aircraft model; it serves to expand the armament and the scene around models of combat aircraft and helicopters.
The B-8M1 is a Soviet rocket pod for unguided 80 mm rockets of the S-8 series. It was used on a good many aircraft and helicopters of Eastern design and became standard armament for attacks on ground targets. The loading cart served for handling and replenishing rockets at the airfield.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding. The enclosed masks make painting the cart wheels easier. Both the pod and the cart come out best after a coat of primer, and picking the detail out with a wash at the end gives the scene its realism.
This is a detail set, not a complete model. The model itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
