A plastic figure set, Russian Infantry and Tank Crew, in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Tamiya: Soviet infantry and a tank crew.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic set of figures of Soviet infantry and a tank crew in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Tamiya. This is a figure set, not a model of a vehicle: it serves to enliven dioramas and to complete models of hardware in the same scale. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted and cement for plastic is needed to put it together.
The set captures Soviet soldiers from the period of the Second World War in dynamic poses, infantrymen on the move as well as tank crewmen. The uniforms and the gear correspond to the Soviet army of the later phase of the war. The figures suit a reconstruction of an infantry attack advancing together with tanks, which was a typical image of the fighting on the Eastern Front.
Remove the flash from the small parts and the weapons carefully and sand the mold seams down. Assemble the figures, fill the gaps and spray them over a primer. You will bring the faces and hands to life by layering flesh tones with gentle accentuation, and the uniforms will come out with a wash in the folds and drybrushing on the edges of the cloth. Paint the figures separately and set them into the diorama only at the end.
This is a set of figures, not a model of a vehicle. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue and paints are not included in the package.
