This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:48 scale from Hobby Boss represents the modern Russian strike fighter Su-34, NATO reporting name Fullback. It is an extensive kit with a great many parts, a detailed fuselage and wing, a well-worked cockpit, metal landing gear, rubber tires and photo-etched parts.
The Su-34 is a two-seat strike fighter derived from the Su-27 family. Its characteristic features are the flattened nose with the crew seated side by side and a rugged structure for operating over the battlefield. The aircraft is intended to destroy both ground and air targets, carries a wide range of guided and unguided weapons and, thanks to drop tanks, achieves a long range.
Given the size of the kit, follow the instructions and work in subassemblies; finish the cockpit and the landing gear bays before closing the fuselage. Glue the metal and photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. A primer base and an airbrush will give an even finish; apply the decals over a gloss coat and seal them with a matte or satin coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
