This resin Aires set in 1:48 scale is a detail accessory, not an airplane model. It holds a faithfully cast S-III-S ejection seat with which you can replace the simplified seat from an AV-8B kit. The casting captures the structure of the shell, the belts and the controls.
The AV-8B Harrier II is a single-seat jet aircraft with vertical and short take-off and landing, operated above all by the Marine Corps. The pilot sits in it on an ejection seat that allows him to leave the machine in an emergency even at low altitude and at zero speed.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate the casting blocks and bond with super glue. The seat comes into its own once the shell, the cushions and the belts are painted in contrasting shades and the details are picked out. Check that it seats in the cockpit before installing it.
