A photo-etched detail set from the maker Hauler in 1:48 scale, aimed at the outside of the German Sd.Kfz.251/1 armored half-track carrier in the Ausf.C version. It is not a model but a photo-etched accessory that replaces the coarser plastic items with thin metal parts and adds details visible on the surface of the vehicle.
The Sd.Kfz.251 (the Hanomag) was the most widespread German half-track infantry carrier of the Second World War. The Ausf.C version is the middle production form with its typical front armor plate; the 251/1 served as the standard infantry carrier.
Fit the exterior parts, such as the grab handles, hinges, fenders and equipment brackets, only after the hull has been basically assembled. Separate the photo-etched items with a knife, make the bends in a bender and bond with super glue. Spray with a primer before painting.
This is a photo-etched accessory, not a complete model. The plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
