This resin detail set from Aires in 1:48 scale replaces the simple plastic cockpit of a SEPECAT Jaguar A model with a complete, finely detailed interior. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory containing the cockpit tub, the instrument panel, the side consoles, the control stick and the ejection seat. The set is intended for more experienced modelers who want a faithful view into the pilot's space.
The SEPECAT Jaguar was a British-French attack and strike aircraft developed jointly by the two countries, powered by a pair of Adour jet engines. The single-seat Jaguar A version served with the French Air Force for attacks on ground targets and for tactical duties. The machine proved itself as a tough and accurate strike platform of the Cold War.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove the mold release agent. Separate them from the casting blocks by cutting, not by snapping, and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Sand the resin with respiratory protection or wet. Spray the interior with a base coat and bring out the instruments and the panels with a wash, drybrushing and spot highlights.
It is supplied as an unglued and unpainted resin set. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
