Compared with airplanes, a helicopter cabin has one disadvantage: it is glazed on all sides and nothing can be hidden in it. That is exactly why this Eduard set makes sense. It contains printed decals with raised relief for the instrument panels and consoles of the Sikorsky MH-60L Black Hawk in 1:48 scale.
The elements are lifted with tweezers from the moistened backing paper and fixed with PVA glue onto a smoothly varnished surface; do not use a decal softener, as it would attack the printed resin. We recommend starting with the large main panel and working toward the small parts on the side consoles. Before the cabin is closed up with the glazing, it is worth letting everything dry thoroughly.
The Sikorsky H-60 family replaced the older Huey machines in US Army service and became the backbone of tactical transport. The MH-60L version was created for special operations units: it received equipment for flying at night and in poor visibility, auxiliary fuel tanks and the ability to operate deep behind the front line. Thanks to its use in a number of conflicts, the characteristic silhouette with a four-blade main rotor and a canted tail section is well known even outside modeling circles.
