A resin detail set, not an airplane kit. This finely cast resin set replaces the antenna mast of the British Supermarine Spitfire fighter in 1:48 scale. It brings a correctly shaped and finer part that matches the real aircraft more faithfully than the coarser plastic piece from the box. The set is meant for advanced modelers with resin experience.
The antenna mast on the fuselage spine is small, but it shows clearly in the silhouette of a model and its exact shape adds to how convincing the build looks. The resin casting is thinner and better shaped, so once painted it blends into the model more naturally than the thicker part from the box. It pays off above all on careful builds with well worked-out detail.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
