Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive painting masks from Eduard in 1:48 scale for Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IXc models. The masks are precisely cut from yellow masking (kabuki) tape and are used to mask the canopy glazing quickly and cleanly when painting.
The pre-cut shapes fit the frames of the cockpit canopy and the windshield exactly, so a sharp boundary forms between the frame and the glass, with no overspill. Kabuki tape adapts even to the curved shape of the Spitfire canopy, paint cannot bleed underneath it, and when the job is done it comes off with no adhesive residue.
Lift the masks off the sheet with tweezers and place them dry, pressing the edges down carefully so that paint cannot bleed in. The cockpit interior can be painted in the interior color before masking. After spraying, remove the masks while the paint is still fresh.
The masks do not include paint or glue; this is an accessory for a separately sold plastic model.
