This is a resin accessory for an interior, a cockpit or a diorama, not a model. The set contains American fire extinguishers of the Second World War type in 1:48 scale, including versions with brackets. The parts are printed from resin on a 3D printer and capture the shape and the small details accurately.
Fire extinguishers bring aircraft cockpits, vehicle interiors and diorama scenes to life. This small equipment gives a model scale and conviction, because it fills corners that would otherwise be empty.
Before separating the parts from the supports, dip them in hot water; the resin softens slightly and does not chip, and once cooled it hardens again. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a filler primer before painting, then paint and add the small captions.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
