A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand from the maker Aires in 1:48 scale from the control surfaces category. The set replaces the horizontal tail surface (the stabilizer) with the elevator by a more faithfully worked resin part. It is not a model of the aircraft but a stand-alone accessory raising the fidelity of the tail area.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V was a British single-seat fighter aircraft of the Second World War and one of the most widespread versions of the type. The horizontal tail surfaces made up, together with the elevator, the rear part of the controls of the machine.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue with super glue. Deflecting the elevator to a slight angle will bring the resulting composition of a model to life.
