This is a set of self-adhesive masking stencils, not paint and not decals. The precisely cut masks let you paint the American national insignia (a star in a circle) directly onto the surface of a model of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V in 1:48 scale in the form operated by units of the American army. Sprayed markings look like part of the finish, have no glossy decal edge and do not silver on matte surfaces.

Use

• Peel the mask off the sheet and place it on a clean, degreased spot on the model
• Press the edges down carefully so that paint cannot creep underneath
• Spray the individual colors of the insignia one after another, ideally in thin coats with an airbrush
• Lift the mask off before the paint has fully cured, for the crispest edges
