Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet fighter Yakovlev Yak-1 in its winter form on ski landing gear, in 1:48 scale from Modelsvit. The box holds parts in injection-molded plastic, clear parts and a decal sheet for Soviet markings.
The Yak-1 was a single-seat fighter aircraft of the Soviet Air Force from the beginning of the Second World War, one of the basic types of the line by the designer Yakovlev. Its structure with a mixed wood-and-metal fuselage proved itself on the Eastern Front. In winter conditions the machines were fitted with ski landing gear instead of wheels, which made operation from unpaved snow-covered strips possible.
Glue with liquid cement for plastic and pay attention to the seating of the ski landing gear and to the transitions of the canopy. Apply a primer before painting with an airbrush. For winter service a seasonal white camouflage is suitable, which can be created by masking or by a wear technique so that the shade underneath shows through.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
