A resin detail set, not an airplane kit. The set brings precisely cast exhaust stubs for the British Supermarine Spitfire Mk.XIV fighter in 1:48 scale. They replace the plastic exhausts from the box.
The castings faithfully capture the row of exhaust stubs of the Rolls-Royce Griffon engine, which is what set the Mk.XIV apart from the earlier versions powered by the Merlin. The hollowed-out exhaust outlets look more realistic than solid plastic parts and are clearly visible on the sides of the fuselage.
This is a resin detail set, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
