This detail set in 1:48 scale from the Aires brand is not a stand-alone model, but an addition for refining a build of the Su-17/22M3/M4 Fitter fighter-bomber. It holds resin covered chaff and flare dispensers, that is, the equipment for releasing chaff and flares, cast with finer detail than injection-molded plastic allows.
The Su-17 and its export version the Su-22 were Soviet fighter-bombers with a variable-geometry wing. The modernized M3 and M4 variants carried extended avionics and self-protection equipment, among which the chaff and flare dispensers belong. On these aircraft they appeared in a covered form at the rear of the fuselage.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The fine edges and openings show at their best after painting and light toning with a wash. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
