Responsibility details are not available.
A pre-cut masking set from the Czech maker New Ware intended for plastic models of the two-seat Su-24M strike aircraft at the EXPERT grade. The set is made of kabuki tape (Japanese washi paper) and contains pieces for masking the cockpit glazing from the outside and the inside, the other clear parts and the wheels. The EXPERT level goes beyond the basic set precisely in its masks for the inner face of the canopy, so the frames stay perfectly colored even when you look into an open cockpit.
The Su-24 is a Soviet twin-engine tactical bomber with a variable-geometry wing and a crew sitting side by side. It was designed to penetrate to the target at low level in any weather. The Su-24M version brought modernized avionics and an in-flight refueling system and became the main strike variant. The extensive glazing of the side-by-side cockpit makes accurate masking of the frames a striking element of the overall impression of a model.
Apply the masks to a perfectly degreased and smooth finish. The pre-cut pieces follow the shape of the frames, so there is no need to cut with a knife straight on the model. Kabuki tape adapts well to curved surfaces and comes off without adhesive residue when the job is done. Cover larger open areas with ordinary masking tape or film before spraying.
This is a masking accessory, not an aircraft model. Paints, glue and the model itself are not included in the package.
