Su-25 flaps and slats PRINT 1:48 is a 3D printed resin detail set from Eduard for sharpening up the wing of a model of the Su-25 attack aircraft in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detail set intended to replace and refine the landing flaps and the leading-edge slats on the wing of a model of the Sukhoi Su-25 attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory for a plastic kit. The parts are made by the modern technology of direct 3D printing from resin, which allows exceptionally fine detail and thin trailing edges without the casting blocks of classic casting.
The Su-25 is a Soviet and Russian subsonic attack aircraft for the direct support of ground units, committed from the end of the 1970s. It is marked by a robust design, an armored cockpit and a rich armament under the wings. Extended flaps and slats are among the striking elements that bring the look of a model to life on a parking apron and in a diorama alike.
First wash the resin parts free of uncured print resin residue, separate them carefully from the print supports and sand them with your airways protected. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). For a faithful seating of the flaps and the slats in the extended position it suits to work with reference photographs. Degrease and prime the surface before painting.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
