Responsibility details are not available.
The Su-30MKK is a two-seat multirole combat aircraft from the Su-27 family, for which the nickname Flanker has become established. Compared with its single-seat predecessor, its crew sits in tandem, so that the second member can concentrate fully on the weapons and the sensors. The MKK designation belongs to the export version developed for China. Power comes from a pair of turbofan engines, the aircraft has twin vertical tails and it carries its weapons on a large number of pylons.
The Flanker family has an unmistakable shape: a long, flowing fuselage that blends into the wing without a sharp division, large air intakes under the wing center section and a tail sting drawn far back between the engines. The two-seat version can be recognized by the lengthened cockpit with two seats and the matching shape of the canopy.
This is a plastic kit in 1:48 scale that you assemble and paint yourself. The extent of the set, the weapons, the number of parts and the range of marking options are given in the manufacturer's instructions supplied with it.
Finish and paint the cockpit before you glue the fuselage halves together. Mask the canopy before spraying and stick the mask onto a clean, dry surface before applying any paint. Wash and degrease the whole model before painting. With this type it pays to spend time on the fit of the air intakes, as the seam in that place shows most.
Paints, glue, masks and add-on sets are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
