A color photo-etched set of seat belts from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in the STEEL version, that is, from thin steel sheet, intended for a model of the French Dassault Super Étendard carrier attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. The steel belts are pre-printed, have faithful texture and buckles and, thanks to the malleable material, hold their shape even after repeated bending. It is not a model of the aircraft, but a detail accessory for the cockpit; the base kit has to be obtained separately.
The Dassault Super Étendard was a French single-seat carrier attack aircraft flying from aircraft carriers. It became known for its use with anti-ship missiles, among other things during the Falklands War. Its cramped cockpit with an ejection seat is exactly the place where steel belts give the scene a realistic look.
Let the steel belts drape naturally over the seat and shape them with your fingers or with tweezers; the material keeps its shape. They are glued with a tiny drop of cyanoacrylate glue. The color finish is not repainted, only fixed with a matte varnish where needed.
The accessory is supplied on its own. The model itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
