Resin detail set for refining the cockpit of the Super Étendard SUE aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a set of replacement parts with which you replace the simplified cockpit of a plastic kit. The package combines finely cast resin with photo-etch, so it brings crisp instrument panels, side consoles and further detail into the cockpit.
The Super Étendard is a French carrier-borne strike aircraft of the French Navy. It operated from the decks of aircraft carriers and became known among other things for its use in the conflicts of the 1980s. A detailed cockpit lets you build the interior open to view.
Wash the parts free of any remaining mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks carefully and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Bend the photo-etch over an edge, paint it in the cockpit shades and bring out the detail with a wash. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The detail set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
