A set of turned metal barrels in 1:48 scale from the Polish maker MASTER for the British Supermarine Spitfire fighter with the type E wing in its early form. It contains the barrels of the 20 mm Hispano cannons and the .50 caliber Browning machine guns in their fairings, in two variants, as a more accurate replacement for the plastic parts.
The type E wing combined Hispano cannons with .50 Browning machine guns and was used on the later versions of the Spitfire. The set replaces the plastic barrels with accurate metal parts with a more faithful shape and muzzle, and offers two variants for different forms.
Choose the variant that matches your model, cut the parts off the remains of the casting and clean them up. Fit the metal barrels in place of the plastic parts and glue with cyanoacrylate. Apply a suitable base coat (a primer) to the metal before painting.
This is not a model of an aircraft but a supplementary set of replacement barrels. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
