This set from Quinta Studio brings a color-printed cockpit interior for the Ta 152H on decal paper. It is not a kit of an aircraft but an accessory for a plastic model: it brings out the instrument panel, the side consoles and the rest of the cockpit equipment. The features are already colored and broken up, so picking out tiny instruments with a brush falls away. The set is cut for the Zoukei Mura kit.
The Focke-Wulf Ta 152 H was a high-altitude fighter that arose as a far-reaching development of the Fw 190 under the direction of Kurt Tank. The hallmark of the H version was an exceptionally long wing of great span and a supercharged inverted V12 Junkers Jumo 213 engine, from which performance was expected at altitudes where ordinary fighters were already running out of breath. It reached combat only in the last months of the Second World War and only a handful were completed, so the type ranks today among technical curiosities rather than among machines used in quantity. The cockpit was adapted for long flights at great altitude and its equipment differed from the ordinary versions of the Fw 190.
The best result comes from a clean and level base, so first rid the plastic parts of burrs and if need be spray them with a dark base. Apply the features one at a time and line the position up while the part can still be moved. Concentrate above all on the surfaces that will stay visible through the canopy once the fuselage is closed up: that is where the effect is greatest. At the end it is advisable to even the whole interior out with a matte varnish and let it dry properly before you move on to the next steps of the build.
