A resin accessory representing the exhaust nozzle of the Junkers Jumo 004 jet engine for a model of the Focke-Wulf Ta 183 aircraft. The casting replaces or rounds out the plastic solution of the engine nozzle and adds fidelity to a model. It is a detail part, not a complete kit.
The Focke-Wulf Ta 183, nicknamed Huckebein, was a project for a jet fighter from the end of the Second World War that stayed at the design stage and was not built in series. The planned powerplant was the Junkers Jumo 004 jet engine, the same type that powered the first operational jet aircraft of the time. A model therefore shows what is rather a project subject.
Wash the part free of mold release residue, cut off the casting block and sand the mating surface. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The shape of the nozzle stands out above all with a realistic shade of metal and a light blackening of the outlet.
This is a resin accessory for advanced modelers. The base model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
