Two sheets of masks for spraying the striking finish and the marking of an assembly ship Flying Fortress in 1:48. One package contains the color fields and the insignia alike, so you deal with the whole machine without buying a further set.
A worn-out Fortress which the crews called The Spotted Cow and also Speckled Hen served with the 384th Bombardment Group at Grafton Underwood base. After its combat career it lost its armament, received a white finish strewn with blue discs and began to perform the role of an assembly machine: circling over the base, it gave dozens of bombers a reference point by which they formed up into a formation. It no longer flew to the target and returned to the ground once the formation was complete.
The white base must be perfectly smooth and even, because every disc will emphasize its shortcomings. Lay the stencils on part by part and watch that the spacing of the circles stays regular even where the surface passes into a curve. Spray the blue thinly, let it flash off and only then take the discs off. Put the peeled parts aside; they will serve again when repairing a small flaw.
The sheets of masks are the only contents of the package.
